YCS Charity Table Quiz in aid of Focus Ireland - 24 April 2008

This years Charity Table Quiz took place in Break for the Boarder with a fantastic turn out of 56 tables and 244 people!

For the last number of years, the YCS has selected Focus Ireland as its charity partner and recipient of funds raised during social events such as the charity table quiz. Focus Ireland is a non-profit organisation, which aims to combat and prevent homelessness through the provision of quality services, supported housing, research and advocacy.

In 2007, Focus Ireland worked with over 6,500 people through its various services in Dublin, Waterford, Limerick, Cork and Sligo. Funds totaling over €14,000 from YCS charity events have contributed to the acquisition of new homes, furnishing apartments, refurbishment of day centres, and youth projects. The latest YCS table quiz, which was held on April 24, 2008, raised €7,459 for Focus Ireland.
