The foster firm scheme is an integral part of the duties of the Young Chartered Surveyor member. Our main goal with regard to the scheme is to ensure that all candidates find suitable employment for the week.

We are currently reviewing our list of firms who very kindly take on students for the week. The YCS would like to thank all such firms and acknowledge that during these extremely busy times it is not always easy to find the time to deal with students.

It is our main aim is to have the firms organised for the start of the forthcoming academic year and to roll out the foster firm scheme as soon as practicable after that.
